APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.  

We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to join our Marketing team on a 10-month fixed term basis (parental leave cover). The objective of this role is to provide marketing assistance to ensure a high level of OneMusic and APRA AMCOS media licensing brand awareness with stakeholders and media outlets and deliver key messages to businesses using our music. 

The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land.   

As a Partnerships Manager, your responsibilities will include:  

• Identify media coverage opportunities, pitch concepts 

• Make bespoke recommendations on all elements of agreements and media campaigns including spend, billing and acquittal, reach, CTR 

• Manage partnership agreements – deliverables as well as maintaining open and collegiate relationships. Identify new partnerships, conduct outreach. 

• Copy write, proofread, track approval and submit content for partnerships and for general media coverage incl from interviews with members and customers 

• Script, produce and direct video content when required 

• Set up and manage webinar events and follow up Q&A 

• Produce marketing collateral, signage and merchandise and arrange install/dispatch 

• Manage all partnership event commitments – from live music performances, to conference presentations and exhibition activations  

• Maintain regular contact with internal stakeholders and reporting results in regular meetings  

• Maintain media and stakeholder contacts database 

Support marketing and communications team with other tasks, as required 

To thrive in this role, you'll need:  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role supporting a marketing or communications team 

• Advanced copywriting and media pitching/networking skills 

• Experience in public relations (in-house or agency side) 

• Knowledge of business/trade media landscape and a thorough understanding on what makes news 

• Familiarity with GA4 to identify engagement results of content/key events/advertising 

• Experience with media and media metric data bases (Rephonic, SEM Rush, Medianet) 

• Strong interpersonal skills  

• Advanced event management and print production skills 

• Solid written and verbal communication skills 

Fluency with Microsoft Office suite
