The Contract Administrator provides support to the AXS Legal department, including drafting of ticketing services contracts; reviewing and/or drafting of other documents [e.g. data sharing agreements, non-disclosure agreements, notices, etc.], and ongoing administrative and organizational support for multiple attorneys in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
What you will do
• Prepare initial draft of contracts, determining correct forms and attachments.
• Review and edit contracts by incorporating deal points and other deal specific terms.
• Collect all pertinent information related to the agreement, clarify data points and issue to business development team associated with deal.
• Submit edited contract to supervisoror relevant internal department for review and comments.
• Disseminate final legal documents for signature, ensuring timely receipt of execution.
• Responsible for internal and external distribution of executed agreements, and e-filing of all agreements, emails and other correspondence
• Develop and update contract process, create new ways to disseminate information between departments.
• Ensure that all files are up to date with new or revised contracts .
• May be responsible for creating contract templates for training or other use.
• Ensure forms and contracts are completed correctly and communicate information/updates as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
What we hope you'll bring
• AA/AS Degree (2-year) (BA/BS Degree Preferred) legal or related field
• 2-4 years of prior experience at a law firm required, with preference in corporate/transactional and/or in-house legal department
• California Notary Public strongly preferred; or a willingness to complete certification process
• Basic knowledge of contract administration and legal language
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Ability to compare/analyze documentation
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word), Windows, OneDrive, DropBox, DocuSign and Adobe software
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform well under pressure
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with all levels of management
• Interest/knowledge of entertainment/tech industry preferred
