About This Fiction
This Fiction is a boutique artist management company based in LA and London, working with artists, songwriters, and producers. Beyond management, we’re active in publishing, label services, and festivals. We move fast, stay creative, and focus on long-term artist development.
The Role
We’re hiring an Artist & Label Operations Coordinator to support artist management and label operations across releases, content, touring, fan growth, and A&R. You’ll also help build day-to-day systems for This Side Up as it grows.
This role works closely with management and leadership—no one is expected to do everything alone. It’s a hands-on position designed to offer meaningful learning, exposure, and growth across all sides of the music business.
What You’ll Do (High-Level)
• Support artist and label operations (calendars, travel, assets, releases, reporting)
• Help manage artist and label catalogues (assets, metadata, organization, performance tracking)
• Collaborate with artists to create weekly social media plans that keep accounts active and aligned with releases and touring
• Create and organize social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more
• Monitor comments/DMs and help build fan communities
• Support direct-to-fan initiatives (merch ideas, drops, data capture via OpenStage, Laylo, SET.live)
• Track and report on growth across the roster (social, streaming, fan data)
• Assist with touring logistics (advancing shows, booking hotels/trains, coordinating schedules)
• Support label operations for This Side Up, including timelines, releases, and partner coordination
• Help source and surface new artists and talent (A&R support)

Who You Are
• 2–4 years of experience in music, entertainment, marketing, or a related field
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling priorities
• Social media native with strong instincts for culture and content
• Familiar with Spotify for Artists, Disco, Notion, and/or direct-to-fan tools
• Entrepreneurial, curious, and excited to learn every side of the business
• You genuinely live in music and know where new artists and trends come from

Why This Role
• Real exposure to artist management, A&R, marketing, touring, and label operations
• Opportunities to take ownership while learning directly from leadership
• Unlimited PTO + holidays
• Healthcare after 3 months
