Position Overview
True Grit Management is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Artist Management Intern to support our team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This internship is ideal for a student who is interested in learning the day-to-day operations of artist management, touring, and release strategy.
The Artist Management Intern will assist with a wide range of administrative, organizational, and research-based tasks that help keep artist campaigns, communications, and internal processes running smoothly. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside artist managers and other team members while gaining valuable insight into how artist careers are managed across touring, recording, marketing, and business operations.
While this internship will include core artist management support responsibilities, we are open to tailoring aspects of the role to align with a candidate’s individual strengths and skill set. We are primarily looking for someone who is hardworking, takes initiative, is eager to learn, and has a genuine interest in building a career in artist management.
Responsibilities
• Support artist managers with day-to-day administrative and organizational tasks.
• Assist in tracking tour dates, appearances, release schedules, and other artist-related deadlines.
• Help prepare materials related to new music releases, tour announcements, and other artist initiatives.
• Conduct research on venues, festivals, brand opportunities, media outlets, and industry trends.
• Organize and maintain internal documents, calendars, and data.
• Coordinate with both internal and external partners to align efforts for various projects.
• Help monitor timelines and schedules to keep projects on track.
• Assist with communications and follow-ups related to artist campaigns and management needs.
• Provide support on a variety of artist development and management projects as needed.
• Assist Marketing Team with campaign ideation and execution.
Qualifications
• Strong interest in artist management and the music industry.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Highly curious and thoughtful.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Professional, dependable, and proactive attitude.
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team.
• Familiarity with touring, release cycles, and the general music business is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and general administrative tools is preferred.
• Familiarity working within Adobe Suite (specifically Photoshop and Premiere Pro) a massive plus.

Internship Details
This internship is fully remote. Candidates may be based anywhere in the United States, but must be eligible to receive college credit. Candidates based in Austin or Nashville will have opportunities to attend shows, video shoots, and in person meetings.
