About the role:
We’re looking for a driven and highly organized Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team at Live Nation.
The Assistant Accountant will support the touring financial accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing general ledger transactions, and assisting with reporting and compliance.
This is a fantastic entry-level role ideal for someone at the beginning of their accounting career who has a willingness to learn and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic finance environment.

**What you’ll be doing: **
• **Accounts and Transactions: **Play a key role in month-end and year-end close activities, preparing journals, reconciliations, and intercompany adjustments. Assist in managing accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely processing, accurate reporting, and minimal aged balances.
• **Reporting & Compliance: **Help prepare monthly financial report packs to maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes. Assist with GST, BAS, and other statutory reporting requirements by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
• Support & Administration: Provide a range of administrative support to the wider finance team by managing filing systems, responding to internal queries regarding financial transactions and performing ad-hoc duties as required.
• Learning & Development: Learn and apply accounting principles and software tools while taking ownership of assigned tasks and follow through with attention to detail and accountability.
What you’ll bring:
• **Qualifications: **Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• **Relevant experience: **At least 2 years of working experience in financial accounting & reporting.
• **Strong communication: **Confident liaising with a range of stakeholders.
• Detail oriented: Demonstrates a high attention to detail, takes pride in maintaining precision and numerical accuracy with a high volume transactional workload.
• Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
