ABOUT THE ROLE
Panache Booking & Management is looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized assistant to support our day-to-day booking and marketing operations. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about the music industry who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This candidate would be working closely with the Booking & Management Coordinator as well as the Owner.

Based in SoCal
This role is fully remote, but our ideal candidate is local to Southern California and willing to come to San Diego for initial training.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Contracts & Settlements
• Manage the Panache Contracts & Settlements spreadsheet
• Track which contracts need to be sent and which require updates and signatures
• Send weekly updates to Booking & Management Coordinator on which contracts are outstanding
Website Updates
• Add tours and shows to the Panache website for booking clients
• Keep sold-out show statuses current
• Post news and announcements to the website
• Cross-check website to ensure all information listed is relevant
• Add booking client music videos to website as released
Marketing
• Run the Panache Instagram account
• Create and schedule content that reflects the Panache brand
• Come up with new marketing tactics for bands to utilize
• Create and send out Panache’s monthly newsletter
Booking Database
• Maintain and update Panache’s venue database with current booking agents and venue contacts
• Support Booking & Management Coordinator in cross-checking offers in database for errors, as well as other tasks related to tour creation
• Cross-check promoter and Panache websites with every announcement to ensure all information is correct and flag discrepancies
Festival Submissions
• Track which festivals have been submitted to and identify new submission opportunities
• Own the project management process for all festival outreach
Ticket Counts
• Add tours to the internal Ticket Count system
• Ensure daily ticket counts are received from promoters
• Send weekly ticket count reports to artists and their teams
Announcement Calendar
• Add show and release announcements to the Panache Google Calendar
• Send the team a weekly digest of upcoming announcements and on-sales
Skills to Have
• Graphic design or marketing experience — or just a genuine passion for it.
Requirements
• Based in Southern California preferred
• Available to work PST hours
• Able to work remotely
• Available for part-time work (approximately 30 hours/week)
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Professional communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong follow-through and time management skills
• Passion for music and the independent music industry
• Interest in booking, management, and marketing operations
• Willingness to learn and grow within a small independent agency
• Comfortable managing spreadsheets and databases
• Familiarity with Instagram and social media content creation
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Comfortable cross-checking information for accuracy
• Graphic design or marketing experience preferred (or strong interest in learning)
• Willing to come to San Diego for initial training
