Boutique talent agency located in Los Angeles seeks ambitious booking assistant to assist in all aspects of the music touring booking process. The agency handles worldwide bookings for 50+ touring artists with a focus on electronic artists. The ideal candidate has a passion for the music industry and at least one (1) year of experience at a booking agency.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for the music industry
• At least 1 year of professional experience working at a booking agency.
• Able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-through
• Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks
• Must be an excellent multi-tasker
• Must be resourceful
• Must be detail and solutions-oriented
• Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast paced, demanding environment
• Must be dependable and proactive
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products
• Booking software experience a plus
• Strong project management skills, used to proactively build processes and programs to benefit the agency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities Include
• Entering offers
• Assisting with client payouts
• Logging payments throughout deal cycles
• Generating itineraries, contracts and admin reports
• Keeping track of ticket counts
• Keeping track of deposit and balance payments for upcoming shows.
• Reviewing contracts
• Maintaining ARTIST calendars in our booking software.
• Dealing with high profile buyers, promoters, and managers while understanding the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
• Maintaining buyer database
• Keeping up to date riders
• Sending riders and offer forms to prospective buyers
