We are looking for the right candidate that has experience and is a very detail-oriented person to assist the agency with facilitating gigs for our artists. It is a chance to immerse in and learn the way the electronic music industry operates first-hand. This position is a front row seat to negotiation tactics and best business practices of being an artist agent in the underground electronic music scene.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Manage communications with artists and promoters.
• Input and manage offers for each artist.
• Send formal offer confirmations and update artist calendars.
• Coordinate show and booking details between agent, artists, and talent buyers.
• Oversee flyer/artwork and ad approvals, as well as other marketing asks.
• Update client bios, riders, and press kits as needed.
• Arrange artist travel logistics and advance each show with promoters and artists.
• Manage work visa process for clients (itineraries, press)
• Keep agent abreast of all outstanding items for active bookings and communications.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in the industry (agency or buyer side). Prior agency experience is a plus, but willing to train for the right applicant.
• Must have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritize the workload, and be dependable and proactive.
• Be able to execute tasks with care and follow-through, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness. Ability to keep track of simultaneous conversations, dates, changes, and clients.
• Must be highly proficient in Google Suite (primarily Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Drive) as well as Microsoft Word and Excel - extremely important!!! Looking for applicants who are computer savvy and are able to navigate these programs without issue or training. We are not looking to train on how to make invoices, work with templates, or other basic functions of using a computer.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication, extremely strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Must be available daily, flexible on timing
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
