Overview:
Black Box is seeking a driven and creatively sharp Community Manager/Digital Marketer to serve as the day-to-day social and digital presence for a select roster of artists. In this role, you will be the connector between the artist, the creative team, and the fan community — building authentic engagement, executing strategic content plans, and managing direct-to-fan communications across email and SMS to bring each artist's narrative to life online, This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role for someone who is chronically online, lives and breathes artist fan communities, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Strategize and create social publishing schedules
• Post on behalf of artists
• Community management on social platforms
• Brainstorm social content ideas tied to the current campaign focus
• Manage CRMs (SMS and email communication)
• Manage artist digital fan clubs
• Moderate and grow artist communities on Discord, Reddit, or Facebook
You are:
• A data-driven decision maker
• Personally in super fan communities for your favorite artists
• Familiar with CRM tools such as Laylo, Mailchimp, and Klaviyo
• Chronically online and invested in your favorite artist’s fan communities
• Fluent in social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X
• A genuine belief in the power of investing in fan communities is one of the highest-leverage growth strategies for an artist
• Organized, a self-starter, and have excellent time management skills
