ADA is the independent distribution and label services arm of Warner Music Group, breaking brand new artists and supporting industry legends. ADA gives the indie record labels and artists access to an unparalleled global distribution system and a dedicated team that provides a complete spectrum of marketing, merchandising, promotion, and music licensing services.
The Artist & Market Development team sits at the center of ADA, collaborating with the all of our global offices around the world as well as division of label management, marketing & services, sales, operations, finance, business affairs/legal and the whole of Warner Music Group. We bring in new and exciting music to ADA from across the globe.
Your role:
This is a unique opportunity to learn the global music business and work across different countries, cultures and languages with exciting artists and label partners. This position will be assisting ADA’s Global Head of Artist & Market Development, providing day to day executive support as well as working cross-functionally with Global Market Development, Label Management, Marketing & Services, and Synch. This role will have the ability to make a meaningful impact on ADA’s business worldwide while also developing strong relationships with our partners around the world including across our 50+ WMG affiliates and licensees. ­­
Here you’ll get to:
• Day-to-Day administrative duties supporting SVP, Head of Global Artist and Market Development including calendar management, travel and expense reports.
• Ensure a current understanding of the executive's commitments to proactively provide assistance and anticipate their needs including artist & market research, collaboration with other departments on deliverables and prioritization of schedules..
• Support in preparation of presentations for both within the company and for outside audiences, including newsletters, Town Halls, and industry conferences.
• Participate in miscellaneous projects including listening sessions, case studies, internal & external meetings, creative brainstorming, project research and charting. 
• Support in organizing internal and external events including executive conferences, label and artist meetings (catering, conference rooms & video conferences, run A/V, etc). 
• Join on weekly calls to discuss plans, strategies, goals and contribute your ideas to enhance results. Securing song assets and information such as co-publishers, copyright owners, composers, ownership, and financial procedures. This would be in coordination with label partners, artist managers, as well as our ADA LMs. 
• Work closely across global teams and multiple departments including Business Expansion, Label Operations, Marketing & Services, and Synch.
• Coordinate support for special projects as needed
About you:
• You are a music fan and a ‘self-starter’ who takes initiative to get involved in all aspects of ADA and the various departments.

• You possess the capacity to take ownership of projects and independently drive them forward from start to finish.
• You have a high level of intellectual curiosity, especially around music, technology, and entertainment.
• You will be working across many different territories; it will be important for you to be flexible, dynamic and diplomatic so you can effectively adapt to business requirement. 
We’d love it if you also had:
• At least 1-2 years of experience supporting a Senior-Level Executive
• Prior music industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of more languages would be a big plus.

This position requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration, which is essential for talent development and strong working relationships.
Salary Range: $22.00 to $26.00 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
