About the Role:
We’re looking for a sharp, creative, and organized assistant to support a NYC-based content creator, interviewer, and writer known for his fashion, culture, and personality-driven content. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, storytelling, and production.
Responsibilities:
• Shoot + edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts (basic to intermediate editing skills required).
• Research potential interview guests, background topics, and relevant cultural trends.
• Coordinate and schedule in-person interviews — handle outreach, logistics, and day-of setup.
• Review and confirm interviewee responses and talking points prior to filming.
• Assist on set with filming, lighting, and social capture as needed.
• Stay on top of trends, audio, and formats performing well across platforms.
• Occasionally manage content uploads, captions, and posting schedules.
Requirements:
• Based in New York City, with flexibility for in-person work and shoots.
• Proficient in basic editing tools (Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar).
• Deep familiarity with social media trends, meme culture, and creator best practices.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Comfortable reaching out to publicists, stylists, and interviewees.
• Creative eye for storytelling, pacing, and tone.
Bonus Points:
• Experience in content production, PR, or digital media.
• Background or interest in fashion, culture, and lifestyle content.
• Some graphic design or copywriting ability.
