Day-to-Day Manager

Full time

Remote • Nashville, TN, USA

Category: Artist Management

Space Colonel is hiring an experienced Day-to-Day Manager to help run the daily operations of a select roster of active artists. This is a hands-on, artist-facing role with responsibility across touring, releases, marketing, and business coordination.
The Day-to-Day Manager is responsible for keeping things moving, keeping people aligned, and making sure details don’t slip. The role requires sound judgment, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple artists and priorities independently.
This is not an entry-level position. Prior management experience is required.
What We’re Looking For
This role is best suited for someone who has already worked closely with established artists and understands what day-to-day management actually entails. A minimum of 4+ years of experience in artist management is required, ideally in a day-to-day or manager role.
Candidates should have experience supporting major releases, merchandise campaigns, and the coordination and advancement of tours and festivals. The workload is steady and priorities shift, so staying organized, following through, and keeping multiple projects on track is essential.
You’ll be working directly with artists and senior management, which requires professionalism, discretion, and reliability. We’re looking for someone who stays a step ahead and prevents issues before they become emergencies.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned artists
• Check in regularly with artists, handle requests, run meetings, filter information, and coordinate communication across the wider team
• Manage artist schedules across all business areas
• Coordinate with booking agents, tour managers, labels, distributors, publicists, business managers, attorneys, and internal staff
• Track timelines and deliverables across touring, releases, marketing campaigns, and ongoing projects
• Keep touring calendars accurate and up to date, including confirmed dates, holds, and artist availability
• Work closely with tour managers and crews on logistics including schedules, transportation, production needs, and merchandise
• Coordinate with tour marketing teams on planning, assets, announce and on-sale timelines, promotional partners, and VIP programs
• Collaborate with labels and distributors on new release campaigns and the ongoing maintenance of prior releases
• Work with digital partners to execute marketing efforts and review performance using available metrics
• Provide regular updates to senior management on current activities, priorities, and open items
• Handle general administrative needs including file and database management, contract and budget tracking, scheduling meetings and calls, travel coordination, and ongoing correspondence
