In this role, you will be the client-facing concert and festival marketing expert, responsible for the planning and execution of Pizza Cake Digital's paid and organic marketing, working closely with the Digital Director. Your primary goal is to apply your deep knowledge of the festival and concert promotion landscape to drive results for our clients. You'll get to come up with both bread-and-butter and out-of-the-box marketing ideas specifically designed to sell tickets, grow event brands and build hype. Then, you'll work with team members at Pizza Cake and the client's company to nail the creative, content, copy, ad buys, e-blasts, SMS, and other deliverables.

Digital Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
• Create thorough and effective digital marketing strategies primarily for ticketed live events like festivals, concerts and tours.
• Oversee, manage and double check execution by our team of advertising specialists.
• Interface with clients, promoters and outside teams involved in our events via email, chat and Zoom meetings.
• Develop regular reports with key metrics and actionable insights that educate our clients on how campaigns are performing and what next steps we recommend.
• Be able to present these reports to clients both live on a call or in writing, and be able to answer challenging questions about the campaign.
• Be responsible for staying on top of social media and digital advertising trends to make sure our team is following best practices.
• Be a stickler for editing copy in captions and creative. Event ads must always display correct dates, venues, times and lineups.
• Confidently request graphic and video edits specific to creative with specific dimensions, calls to action and creative direction.
• Have demonstrated experience drafting and sending email campaigns on platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Laylo or Hive.
• Have demonstrated experience drafting and sending SMS campaigns on platforms such as Laylo or Community.
• Have demonstrated experience creating and optimizing settings for Laylo Drop pages. 
• Work across client's advertising pixels to be able to generate, install or work with the client's developer to install, create conversion events, test the pixel, create audiences and campaigns that use pixel events, and monitor activity.
• Use Google Analytics to be able to monitor traffic trends across client domains.
• Update or create basic SEO optimizations for client web domains.
• Be the company expert by staying up-to-date on digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels.
Apply if this describes you:
• You have 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience in advertising, email or SMS marketing.
• You have personally run paid digital ads for a number of live events, and you know how to talk confidently about those campaigns to those who aren't as fluent.
• You are able to adapt to change in real time and proactively adjust strategy when results warrant change.
• You have some experience working with well known brands in music, entertainment, concerts or festivals.
• You are interested in learning other industries like tech, e-commerce, entertainment, gaming and more as we grow.
• You can speak the client's language by intelligently dissecting why a successful campaign worked, and how a less successful campaign could be improved.
• You're extremely organized with your task list, priorities and calendar.
• You're super detail oriented and would never let a typo or inaccurate information get past your desk.
• You communicate proactively internally and externally to make sure deadlines are realistic and hit.
• You have experience working closely with a small, fast-paced team.
