About the Role
We're a business management firm that handles the financial and operational backbone for top-tier musicians and entertainers. We're growing fast, and this role is designed to help unlock the next phase of that growth.
As Executive Operations Manager, you'll work directly with the CEO across sales and marketing, operations, recruiting, and executive support. This is a high-visibility, multi-disciplinary position with a clear path to Chief of Staff for someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and wants to help build the infrastructure of a scaling company.
If you're organized, tech-forward, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs before they arise, you'll excel here.
You'll gain direct exposure to business development, client operations, and finance while building systems that will scale with the company. Leftbrain isn't replicating an existing business model; we're evolving our profession with the goal of forcing an industry-wide transition.
What You'll Do
Operations & Systems (20–30%)
• Build, document, and improve internal systems that support client onboarding, employee onboarding, workflows, and cross-department operations
• Set up infrastructure for new clients and new team members (accounts, tools, templates, permissions)
• Maintain CRM, referral network data, and relationship-mapping tools; surface opportunities based on connections
Sales & Marketing Support (20–30%)
• Use CRM and referral data to identify aligned warm introductions; draft outreach emails for CEO to send
• Help prepare materials for pitches, meetings, and partnership conversations
• Occasionally assist with posting or coordinating social content (a few times per year, not a marketing role)
Executive Support & Prioritization (10–20%)
• Manage and protect the CEO's time through proactive calendar oversight and scheduling
• Monitor email for follow-ups, next steps, and priorities; draft responses and flag issues as needed
• Ensure projects and commitments move forward without bottlenecks
Recruiting & HR Coordination (as needed)
• Post job descriptions, manage inbound candidates, and coordinate interview logistics
• Support new-hire onboarding workflow using project management software and internal systems
Project Management (as needed)
• Track and advance CEO-level initiatives; manage timelines and ensure follow-through
• Create structure where there is none; bring clarity to ambiguous projects
You Will Thrive Here If You Are
Highly proactive—you don't wait for instructions; you anticipate needs and solve problems early
Detail-oriented but efficient—you sweat the small stuff without slowing down
Tech-savvy—comfortable with CRM systems, automations, and new tools
A structured thinker—you naturally create order from chaos
A strong communicator—clear, concise, direct
A fast learner—able to navigate unfamiliar tasks or systems quickly
A partner, not a task-taker—you think strategically about the best way to get things done
Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years in one or more of the following: Operations Manager, Project Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar hybrid roles
• Experience supporting someone who wore many hats—founder, CEO, or similar leader in a dynamic environment
• Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple high-stakes priorities
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• High comfort level with modern tools (CRM platforms, project management software, cloud-based productivity suites, automation tools)
• Based in Los Angeles, or able to maintain West Coast hours
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a fast-growth company or professional services environment
• Exposure to HR coordination, recruiting, or systems onboarding
• Comfortable drafting external-facing emails and communications
• Familiarity with the music, entertainment, creative, or tech industries
• Interest in growing into a Chief of Staff role
Why This Role Matters
This role directly amplifies the CEO's ability to lead the company, build partnerships, hire great people, and scale operations. You will become the connective tissue across the business—enabling the leadership team to operate more effectively and helping the company scale with clarity and consistency.
You'll collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and external vendors in a tight-knit, fast-paced environment that's collaborative now and moving toward autonomous as systems mature.
For the right person, this is a rare opportunity to grow into a Chief of Staff role at a high-momentum company.
