Freelance Social Media Manager
Nationally touring headlining act is looking for a creative, data-driven Freelance Social Media Manager to join our team.
You will be the architect of our artists’ digital presence, overseeing everything from high-level strategy to day-to-day execution across multiple platforms.
In this position, you will work hand-in-hand with band and artist management to turn creative visions into viral moments.
Your core responsibilities include:
• Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute dynamic social strategies that drive follower growth and meaningful fan engagement.
• Content Management: Curate and manage a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand voice.
• Campaign Execution: Lead social initiatives for music releases, tour announcements, and live shows, while maintaining "evergreen" content to keep the fanbase active.
• Analytics & Insights: Use data tools to track performance, providing actionable reports to pivot and optimize strategy.
• Workflow Optimization: Build efficient systems for scheduling and distribution, including recommending the best industry tools for the job.
• Trend Forecasting: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and platform shifts to keep our artists at the forefront of digital culture
Who You Are:
• Experienced: 2+ years as a Social Media Manager or Coordinator, with a proven track record of growing engaged communities.
• Platform Expert: Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including the nuances of creator culture and algorithm trends.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in design tools, scheduling software, and analytics platforms.
• Music-Minded: A genuine passion for music and a solid understanding of the live touring landscape is a huge plus.
• Self-Starter: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple artist voices simultaneously with poise and confidence.
