ANTI- Records is looking for a Head of A&R.
We are seeking a highly experienced, creative, and strategic Head of A&R to lead the discovery, signing, and development of artists across the label. This role is instrumental in shaping the artistic direction and long-term success of our roster.
The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of identifying and breaking artists, a deep understanding of the evolving music landscape, and the ability to translate creative vision into commercially impactful releases.
Position Overview:
The Head of A&R will oversee all aspects of artist acquisition and development, from talent scouting through release. This role works closely with artists, managers, and internal teams to ensure projects are executed at the highest level and aligned with overall label strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and sign emerging and established artists that align with the label’s vision
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent through industry relationships and modern discovery platforms
• Guide the creative development of artists, including song selection, producers, collaborators, and overall direction
• Oversee recording projects to ensure quality, timelines, and budgets are met
• Partner with Marketing and other internal teams to develop and execute effective release strategies
• Collaborate with Business Affairs on deal negotiations and artist agreements
• Maintain strong relationships with managers, agents, producers, and other key industry partners
Requirements:
• Significant A&R experience with a proven track record of successful artist signings and development
• Strong creative instincts and ability to identify culturally relevant artists
• Meaningful industry relationships
• Knowledge of record deal structures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
