The Job
We’re looking for a Head of Commercial to scale The ROSTR Group’s Sales, Marketing, and Support functions. This is a pivotal leadership role, where you will design and execute growth and commercial strategies across multiple products and markets globally. This role reports directly to the CEO and will be a key part of the group's leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
This is a cross-functional role overseeing marketing, sales, support, and commercial strategy across all of The ROSTR Group's current and future products. You will own the funnel from top-to-bottom – acquisition, conversion, retention – and the revenue that comes from it.
Some of the stuff you'll be responsible for:
• Owning revenue growth across subscriptions, jobs, and advertising/sponsorship products – with a clear handle on MRR/ARR, churn, ARPU, and ad revenue.
• Defining and iterating pricing and packaging for our SaaS products (plans, tiers, trials, discounts) with a focus on conversion, retention, and expansion.
• Building and running a simple, effective sales motion for both SaaS and ads – from lead generation and qualification through to closing and renewals.
• Leading marketing with a focus on performance: channels, campaigns, and content that drive sign-ups and paid conversion, not just clicks and followers.
• Shaping ad and sponsorship offerings (inventory, placements, CPMs, bundles) and working with the team to ensure campaigns are sold, delivered, and reported well.
• Designing customer retention and support strategies that reduce churn, increase lifetime value, and create clear playbooks for upsell/cross-sell.
• Using data from our CRM, analytics, and billing tools to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and where to focus next.

As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re looking for experienced people who are also incredibly hands-on. Yes, this role involves management, but it’s NOT just a management role.
To be a fit for this role, you should be:
• A “startup person,” not a corporate type.
• Someone who’s already owned commercial outcomes for a SaaS product – you understand funnels, pricing, MRR/ARR, churn, and LTV:CAC, and you’ve moved those numbers before.
• Comfortable with ad-supported or media-style revenue – impressions, CPMs, sponsorships, inventory, and why advertisers renew or don’t.
• Incredibly data-driven – you’re happy living inside tools like CRM, analytics, and billing platforms to pull your own numbers and make decisions.
• Self-motivated and confident. Many of the responsibilities are being handed off directly from the CEO/co-founder, so you need to be ready to run with them.
• Willing to move fast and take risks. We always lean toward action and iteration. For example, we took Jobs by ROSTR from idea to launch in just three weeks.
• Adaptable. Things move fast here, and you’ll need to thrive in an environment where priorities shift quickly.
• Collaborative. While you’ll be working independently, you need to communicate and collaborate across teams to bring everything together.
• Ready to go all-in – not in terms of hours, but in passion and commitment. While we have great work/life balance here (see our benefits), we want someone who’s fully invested in what we’re building.
• Super comfortable with tech – whether it’s CRM tools, AI, or project management software, you should know your way around it all.

Requirements
Must haves:
• 7+ years of experience in growth-related roles (sales, marketing, business development, etc.).
• Proven success growing products at a technology company with verifiable results and hard numbers.
• Experience managing and scaling teams.
• Strong understanding of SaaS funnels, key metrics, and growth-related software tools.
• Eligibility to work in the USA (we cannot help with this)
• Los Angeles based or willing to move to Los Angeles
Nice to haves:
• Experience in music-tech
• Understanding of the music industry
• Existing key industry relationships
