Green Tea Distribution (GTD) is a subscription-based music distribution and artist-development platform built for serious independent artists.
Unlike upload-only distributors, GTD combines distribution with real A&R feedback, development, and guidance. We help artists not just get their music out — but actually grow.
We are entering a new phase with a simplified $19.99/month core plan and a clear mandate:
scale sustainably to tens of thousands of active subscribers with strong unit economics.
This is not a “run ads harder” role.
This is an own-the-growth-engine role.
The Role
We’re hiring a Head of Growth to own end-to-end growth across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
You will be responsible for building and operating GTD’s growth system — not just managing channels. You’ll work directly with the founder and leadership team and have autonomy to design, test, cut, and scale growth initiatives.
If you think in terms of CAC, LTV, churn, cohorts, and payback, this role is for you.
What You’ll Own
Growth Strategy & Unit Economics
• Own blended CAC, payback period, and LTV
• Design a scalable growth model for a low-ARPU subscription product
• Ensure growth is profitable, repeatable, and sustainable
Acquisition (Multi-Channel)
• SEO and search-intent capture (comparison pages, alternatives, high-intent queries)
• Referral and word-of-mouth growth loops
• Partnerships and creator collaborations
• Paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok) as an accelerator, not the foundation
Funnel, Activation & Onboarding
• Trial → paid conversion optimization
• Onboarding to first “value moment”
• Reduce early-life churn (first 30–90 days)
Retention & Expansion
• Improve subscriber (logo) churn
• Cohort analysis by behavior, not just time
• Identify and launch high-leverage upsells and expansions
Execution & Systems
• Work cross-functionally with product, content, and operations
• Build growth systems that scale without heavy manual effort
• Eventually hire/manage additional growth resources as needed
Who You Are
Required Experience
• 5+ years in growth, ideally as Head of Growth, Growth Lead, or Director of Growth
• Experience scaling low-ARPU SaaS ($10–30/month) or creator-focused platforms
• Proven ownership of growth end-to-end (not just paid media)
• Comfortable with SEO, referrals, paid acquisition, lifecycle, and analytics
• Strong understanding of churn, cohorts, and unit economics

• Products with self-serve onboarding

This role is not for:
• Pure media buyers
• Channel specialists without ownership mindset
• “ROAS screenshot” marketers
