Position Overview
Imprinted is seeking a part-time Junior Controller & Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting and begin building controllership experience. This contract role is designed for a self-motivated, analytical finance professional who wants to advance toward senior finance or operational leadership (Controller, CFO, COO) as the company evolves.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping, including payables/receivables, reconciliations, and payroll.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports; assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support month-end/year-end closes and work with tax/audit professionals.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures, controls, and documentation.
• Collaborate on operational projects and process improvements; contribute to admin/finance initiatives as bandwidth grows.
Advancement Track
• Opportunity for increased responsibility, hours, and compensation, transitioning to full-time Controller/Finance lead as company scales.

Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience; startup or investment firm background is a plus.
• CPA and/or CMA is preferred but not required
• Strong skills in QuickBooks, Xero, Excel, and other cloud-based accounting/reporting tools.
• Analytical, proactive, strong communicator, and keen to grow into leadership.
