Opportunity Overview
Mick Management is seeking a skilled, dynamic professional to join our Digital Department. The Digital Manager will serve as the dedicated point of contact for a curated group of Mick clients in the alternative, pop, and electronic genres. They will own social media and DSPs for their artists and oversee digital campaigns from ideation, strategy, and planning all the way through execution, analysis, and reporting.
The Digital Manager will be an expert on the trends, aesthetics, and tastemakers within their artists' social ecosystems and know how to translate that cultural fluency into marketing campaigns that move the needle. They will work closely with their artist clients, Mick team members, and digital counterparts at record label and distribution partners.
The ideal candidate lives and breathes music and digital culture and has experience managing social accounts. This role is based in our Los Angeles office and reports to the Head of Digital & Commercial Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement digital strategies for music releases, tours, merchandise launches, etc.
• Create, manage, and execute comprehensive social media calendars for multiple artists, ensuring consistent and engaging content across all platforms
• Spearhead content creation (graphics, videos, and written posts) that aligns with each artist's brand
• Design and execute email marketing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies
• Analyze audience and engagement data to inform and improve future digital marketing strategies
• Maintain up-to-date artist websites, Linktrees, and other owned digital properties
Community Management
• Monitor and engage with fan communities across platforms, fostering positive interactions and gathering valuable feedback
• Run fan and/or artist HQ accounts as needed
Digital Advertising & Growth
• Oversee digital advertising for your artists, liaising with partners/agencies for execution
• Engage agencies to execute seeding/clipping campaigns and creator/UGC activations
• Set audience growth goals and track progress
Streaming Management & Reporting
• Maintain optimized and updated artist profiles on all major streaming platforms
• Perform regular analyses of digital consumption data
Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing within the music industry (management, label, or agency)
• Mastery of major social platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Comprehensive knowledge of the DSP/streaming landscape
• Basic data analysis skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present clearly to artists, managers, and label partners
A plus, but not required:
• Comfort with streaming data tools (e.g. Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, Chartmetric, Soundcharts, Luminate)
• Proficiency in email marketing best practices and platforms
• Graphic design or photo/video editing capabilities
