Description of the Position:
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage all aspects of event production for performances. include but are not limited to coordinating, producing, advancing, running, and settling events, and supervising production staff. Setup, and breakdown of stage, PA, tents. Manage the ‘run time’ of the events. Make sure artist is performing properly within the decibel limits and troubleshoot any issues or situations that may arise. Foresee and report issues with house or tour gear. This position is also required to travel between multiple McMenamin locations, sometimes hauling PA’s, including tour and theater PA’s, assist in the inventory of all sound equipment at the end of the event. Being a production manager can be hard physical work and requires the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment. A production manager must also have the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Each employee will be expected to perform their job in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to Management. All McMenamin employees will also be expected to keep current on all company events, history, and products. Other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
Requirements of the Job:
• Previous event management experience
• Previous production experience
• Skilled in all aspects of sound and lighting
• Experience with production at 2000+ cap venues
• Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Work the hours necessary to complete the job
• Ability to travel between multiple locations
• Excellent written and verbal skills
Essential Functions of the Job:
• Effectively manage all aspects of sound and lighting production for concerts and events
• Must have a value for diversity and the ability to work with individuals from different backgrounds
• Safely practice frequent heavy lifting exceeding 100lbs, with the help of another person if necessary
• Work on feet for long periods including standing, walking and stair & ladder climbing
• Work in, at times, a loud environment
• Work outdoors in different weather conditions
·       Repeated movement including pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, twisting, grasping, reaching, kneeling, and stooping
• Repetitive movement such as pushing, pulling, bending, some stooping and twisting
• Maintain trouble shoot and report any issues to keep the sound systems in good working order
• Provide assistance for visiting production sound crew and protect sound system from abuse or exceeding the decibel limit. Help guide sound engineers to mix well with the unique aspects of our venues                          
• Maintain positive attitude and the ability to handle stressful situations in a deadline-oriented environment
• Work in a loud environment
• Work  well independently and as a team member
• Excellent communication skills was well as present a professional image to band members, customers, co-workers, and management
