For young emerging talent it is a platform to explore and be exposed on a world stage and for seasoned artists it is an intimate setting to connect with their fans on a personal level.
About the Position:
This is a full-time role, 5-7 nights out of the week depending on the show schedule.
To be successful in this role, this candidate will need to be extremely organized with a minimum of 2 years in hospitality management with an emphasis in live music establishments. He or she must be able to balance floor staff management, nightly production of entertainment, security along with the responsibility of nightly restaurant /bar inventory/ management
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Understand and convey production schedules, inventory of bar, basic floor management of staff (for night production)
• Manage all logistical production including working with our sound and light team to establish the needs of the night
• Be the main point person with Artist Management on the night of the event along with settlement of night with artist management
• Facilitate and convey to floor staff and kitchen the expectations of the night, providing them the tools they need for the best service
• Understand and convey the security needs of the night production and schedule accordingly
• Provide weekly schedules in advance of the floor staff ie servers, bartenders and security
Qualifications:
• 2 years in the Hospitality Business management
• Experience in high volume bar/club or live music venues
• Extremely organized
• Comfortable in working late nights
• Excellent administrative skills
• Spanish language a plus
