The Role
We're seeking an exceptional assistant who will be a true partner in running Isola Brooklyn. This isn't a typical assistant role, we need someone who can think like an owner, move with urgency, and understand that excellence lives in the details.
You'll be trusted to make meaningful decisions about the venue, interact with clients and vendors, and help shape the experience we're creating. If you have impeccable taste, natural intuition, and the drive to make things happen, we want to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day operations and vendor relationships with precision and care
- Make real-time decisions about the venue, events, and client needs
- Coordinate bookings, events, and logistics with meticulous attention to detail
- Source and curate elements that elevate the Isola Brooklyn experience
- Anticipate needs before they're articulated—both for the business and for clients
- Handle communications with professionalism and warmth
- Maintain the aesthetic and operational standards that define us
- Problem-solve creatively and efficiently when challenges arise
- Manage administrative tasks, scheduling, and documentation seamlessly

Experience & Skills
- 2+ years in hospitality, events, operations, or a similarly demanding, detail-oriented field
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities with grace
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and understanding of design/ambiance
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with standard business tools (Google Workspace, project management software, etc.)
- Comfortable with vendor negotiations and relationship management
- Natural problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
Nice to have
- Experience in event planning or venue management
- Background in design, hospitality, or the creative industries
- Existing relationships with Brooklyn vendors and suppliers
- Social media or content creation skills
