Outback Presents is the leading independent live entertainment promoter in North America, connecting artists with audiences through unforgettable live experiences across comedy, music, live podcasts, and more. We are seeking a tech-savvy, data-driven Paid Media Manager, Tour Marketing to scale our digital performance marketing efforts and drive ticket sales across our touring portfolio. This role is ideal for someone passionate about live entertainment who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and brings deep expertise in paid digital advertising for live events.
Core Competencies:
• Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, platforms, best practices, marketing automation, tracking and attribution.
• **Capital Allocation Responsibility: **Oversight, execution and optimization of multi-million-dollar paid media portfolios across thousands of ad campaigns.
• Data-Driven Mindset: Skilled in analyzing campaign performance and using insights to optimize digital strategies and retargeting to increase ticket sales.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in high volume campaign setup, creative execution, pixel tracking and ticket sales nuances.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CRM, CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, CVR, ROAS
Key Responsibilities:
• Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize a high volume of digital ad campaigns supporting a variety of artists across hundreds of shows. In-house platforms and tools include but are not limited to: Meta, Google, TikTok, MNTN/CTV, Programmatic Networks, Digital Audio, Klayvio, Airtable, and more.
• **Digital Strategy: **Orchestrate strategic multi-channel, paid campaigns that drive fans from awareness and engagement to conversion through the lifecycle of a show.
• Audience Targeting: Develop hyper-local artist and fan profiles using customer data, affinity audiences, ticket sales trends and demographic/behavioral insights.
• **Reporting and Analysis: **Track and analyze digital campaign performance and ROAS, providing regular reports to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Optimization: Continuously test and refine ad creative, targeting, and bidding strategies to maximize ROI and reduce customer acquisition costs.
• Pixel Management: Set up and manage tracking pixels, conversion events, and retargeting campaigns to capture valuable audience data.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep Outback Presents at the cutting edge of digital promotion.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Tour Marketing strategists, creative teams, and booking/ticketing departments to ensure seamless and timely execution of integrated campaigns.
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in digital advertising or paid media, live events or ticketing industry preferred,
• Proven ability to execute, optimize, and scale ticket sales campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with advanced understanding of Google Ads/Analytics, Meta Business Suite/Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Airtable, Klaviyo, AWS, and more.
• Highly organized and collaborative, with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Additional Details:
• Location: Nashville, TN (This is not a remote position).
• Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9AM-6PM.
• Compensation: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, plus full benefits.
