Role Overview
We’re looking for a plugged-in A&R Scout—ideally a tastemaker college student or recent graduate—who constantly tracks emerging talent and knows how to combine intuition with analytics. You’ll use A&R Research tools, your knowledge of internet culture, and your personal curation skills to identify artists worth signing.
What You’ll Do
• Scout new artists across digital platforms (Spotify, TikTok, YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram, etc) 
• Screen and assess potential artists for fit within the label’s roster and creative vision
• Compile weekly scouting reports with data-supported recommendations
• Track micro-scenes, niche genres, college music communities, and cultural trend shifts
• Attend local shows, sessions in the Los Angeles area
• Support the A&R team with research, artist discovery projects, and competitive intel
What We’re Looking For
• A true music tastemaker with a strong instinct for what’s next
• A college student or recent graduate with a pulse on youth culture
• Comfortable using Chartmetric, Luminate, or equivalent tools to evaluate growth signals and audience trends 
• Tech-savvy—comfortable navigating platforms, trends, and digital ecosystems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a startup environment
