This is a hands-on support role—ideal for someone excited by the mechanics of A&R and willing to learn by doing.
You’ll work across day-to-day consulting projects, supporting both the creative and operational sides of the work. This role is admin-forward but offers genuine insight into how projects progress from idea to delivery.
This position is for academic credit only and best suited to someone looking to build foundational experience in A&R, music administration, or artist development.
Key Responsibilities
A&R Support
• Listening to demos and beat packs and helping organise feedback
• Tracking submissions, versions, and next steps across multiple projects
• Assisting with song and project deliveries to labels, managers, and publishers
• Preparing A&R notes, references, and internal summaries
• Maintaining accurate records of songs, writers, producers, splits, and timelines
General PA Support
• Inbox management and drafting correspondence
• Ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving environment
• Providing day-to-day organisational support as needed
