**The Role: **
Roc Nation is looking for a versatile Photographer & Editor to join our NYC-based creative team. This role is for a visual storyteller who can own the content lifecycle—from concept and shooting to post-production and delivery.
Working under the direction of the Jr. Art Director, you will collaborate with various teams across the Roc Nation umbrella to produce compelling visual content. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage projects autonomously and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Who You Are:
• A skilled visual producer, adept behind both the camera and the editing suite
• Deeply familiar with Roc Nation's brand aesthetic, legacy, and content landscape
• A creative who not only follows trends in entertainment and culture but also identifies opportunities for innovative visual growth
• Highly organized, capable of balancing multiple projects and delivering exceptional work in a fast-paced environment
**Responsibilities **
• Responsible for photo shooting, producing and editing 
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including creative, digital, and brand strategy to build a holistic approach to photo production
• Brainstorm and develop innovative ideas with the team
• Maintain a steady flow of high quality content for all photo needs - 
• Define and elevate the aesthetic quality of assets in collaboration with the Jr. Art Director
• Manage post-production work flow
• Secure and vet photo + video talent, crew for upcoming shoots
• Uphold the standards of the Roc Nation brand
• Other duties, as assigned
Experience, Skills, Knowledge
• 2-4 years of experience in photography, editing (including skin retouching and beauty editing in photo)
• Experience in shooting and concepting e-commerce and lifestyle for digital and print
• Proficiency in digital media software tools (Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
• Must be familiar with social media tools
• Experience with copywriting, storyboarding, and create content narratives
• Experience working with and troubleshooting lighting 
• Highly organized, with baseline levels of project management
• Independent and detail-oriented with a creative approach to video editing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and stay calm under pressure
• A team player with the ability to work independently and multi-task
• In tune with latest trends, news, and tools
• Experience shooting with DSLR or mirrorless video cameras 
• Full understanding of the Roc Nation brand, all subsequent verticals, and partner companies

The expected compensation for this position is:
$64,000.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
