Darkroom Records is seeking a Project / Marketing Manager to lead the planning and execution of artist campaigns across recorded music releases. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in the music industry, a proven track record of managing complex release campaigns, and the ability to operate with precision in a fast-moving environment. 
Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end campaign execution for assigned artists, ensuring flawless coordination across marketing, digital, creative, A&R, distribution, DSPs, publicity, and external partners. 
Key Responsibilities
• Lead full lifecycle project management of singles, EPs, and albums 
• Oversee and collaborate on digital marketing efforts across social platforms
• Build and maintain comprehensive release timelines and campaign calendars
• Drive cross-functional alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders
• Coordinate asset delivery (audio, artwork, video, metadata) with zero margin for error
• Manage budgets, approvals, and campaign reporting 
• Partner with DSPs and distribution teams to optimize release execution
• Identify operational efficiencies and proactively solve bottlenecks 
• Ensure every campaign meets Darkroom’s creative and commercial standards 
Qualifications
• **5+ years of experience **in project management within a record label, distributor, or artist management company 
• Deep understanding and experience in working across digital marketing and the social media landscape
• Demonstrated success managing multi-format campaigns at scale
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to operate under pressure with discretion and accountability
• Strong communication skills with executives, artists, and partners
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools and release tracking systems
