The Role
We’re seeking a full-time Promoter / Tour Promoter to join our Melbourne-based team. This is a senior role for someone with 5+ years’ experience in the live music and touring space, ideally across both festival and hard-ticket markets.
You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, securing artists, building tour models, and executing campaigns that maximise both cultural impact and commercial return. From pitch to post-show, you’ll help shape the creative and commercial success of each tour.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pitch tour concepts, artists, and opportunities across Australia and New Zealand
• Build and maintain strong relationships with managers, agents, and artist teams globally
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and profit optimisation
• Negotiate venue holds, offers, and contracts in line with artist strategy and market demand
• Oversee end-to-end tour execution, including venue operations, ticketing strategy, and production
• Work closely with marketing, ticketing and content teams to roll out campaigns
• Analyse tour performance and provide post-campaign reporting and insights
• Stay ahead of local and international trends in touring, festivals, and fan engagement
• Help guide junior staff and contribute to broader business development
About You
• 5+ years of experience in live music, touring, or promoting (agency, promoter, or venue-side)
• Strong relationships across the music industry, both in Australia and internationally
• Deep understanding of ticketing, budgeting, marketing, and touring logistics
• Confident in negotiating, deal-making, and developing tour strategies
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-paced environment
• Clear communicator and natural collaborator
• Passionate about live music and artist development
• Flexible to work outside standard hours when required, including weekends and travel
