Role Overview
Platinum Grammar Publishing is seeking a creative and well-connected A&R to join our Pop division. The role focuses on discovering and developing top songwriting talent, growing our pop roster, and driving placements across artist projects and sync opportunities. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Beverly Hills.
Key Responsibilities
• Scout, evaluate, and sign pop songwriters and producers
• Manage and develop a roster of writers through creative guidance, co-writes, and career strategy
• Build relationships with artists, managers, labels, producers, and music supervisors
• Pitch songs for artist cuts, label projects, and sync licensing opportunities
• Organize co-writing sessions and facilitate collaborations
• Monitor pop trends, streaming data, and market activity to inform strategy
• Collaborate with sync, marketing, legal, and creative teams to maximize catalog value
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in music publishing A&R or related fields
• Strong understanding of the current pop music landscape and emerging trends
• Proven ability to identify commercially viable songwriting talent
• Established relationships within the pop music and publishing community
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and highly detail-oriented
