THE ROLE
This position reports to a VP of Finance and works closely with our Corporate and Tour Finance team. The ideal candidate will own day-to-day accounting operations while supporting tour-level financial performance and scaling processes as the company grows. We are looking for a strong hands-on technical accountant with a potential to oversee and mentor junior accounting staff as the team grows.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Core Accounting & Close
• Own monthly close process including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
• Maintain accurate general ledger in QuickBooks Online
• Ensure audit-ready financials
Cash Management & Forecasting
• Manage daily cash across multiple accounts and currencies
• Maintain weekly dashboards for review with VP of Finance
• Oversee inter-account transfers and liquidity planning
Revenue & Tour Accounting
• Track ticketing deposits, VIP revenue, and tour expenses
• Support Tour Finance team with tour settlements
• Provide Tour Profitability reports as needed
Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Manage AP lifecycle including bill pay and vendor management
• Manage approvals and process payments as needed
• Oversee AR including issuing invoicing and collections
Reporting & Leadership Support
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and ad hoc analysis
• Partner with leadership on budgeting and decision-making
Systems & Process Ownership
• Own QuickBooks Online and financial workflows
• Manage integrations (Ramp, Stripe, PayPal, Wise, banking tools)
• Utilize bill pay software (Ramp, Bill.com or similar)
Tax & Compliance Coordination
• Coordinate with external partners on US and international tax matters as needed
• Support payroll tax and compliance processes
• Timely and accurate filing of annual 1099
Qualifications
• 5 - 8+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• A strong foundation in full-cycle accounting (GAAP, accrual accounting, month-end close)
• Experience in live events, entertainment, or similar industries preferred
• Strong experience with project tracking and cost allocations
• QuickBooks Online Certified (Advanced certification preferred)
• Experience with bill pay platforms (Ramp, Bill.com or similar)
• Experience with Ticketmaster, Tixr, Stripe, and Wise platforms a strong plus
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

• Ability to manage high transaction volume
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong ownership mindset and communication skills
• Experience across international markets would be highly advantageous
