Social Media Intern

Internship (Academic Credit)

Remote

Category: Artist/Label Services

This internship centers on content sourcing, editing, and managing artist-adjacent community pages alongside official artist accounts (pop, hip hop/rap, and indie rock/alternative). You’ll help grow and manage fan-centric social accounts, build audiences and communities across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Discord, and assist in developing digital content strategies that amplify releases and deepen fan engagement
This role is ideal for someone who already runs or is excited to run fan-driven social pages and online communities, and understands how fans actually discover, share, and talk about music online.

• Pull clips from live performances, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage
• Monitor TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms for relevant content trends
Page Management
• Run social accounts and interact with fans to boost algorithmic reach
• Post content that aligns with artist brand tone and trends daily or multiple times/week
Community Management

Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Prepare weekly reports with performance metrics per artist; suggest pivots or optimizations based on data
