As a Social Media Intern, you will collaborate with the artist management team to support social media initiatives that strengthen our artists’ digital presence and audience engagement. This internship is for college credit only and is designed to provide practical, educational experience in social media management, digital marketing, and artist development. You will gain hands-on exposure to real-world projects in a fast-paced, creative environment, developing skills in content creation, campaign execution, and community engagement. The internship combines structured guidance with opportunities for independent work, making it ideal for students passionate about the music industry and digital media.

Overview:
This internship is unpaid and is offered exclusively to students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university and eligible to receive academic credit. Candidates must provide official documentation from their institution confirming credit eligibility before the start date.The program is designed to provide a structured, educational experience that complements the student’s academic program. Interns will gain practical, hands-on exposure to the music and entertainment industry, with an emphasis on social media management, digital marketing, and artist development. The internship will not displace regular employees and will be supervised by qualified personnel who provide ongoing guidance and feedback.
• The internship complements the intern’s educational program. The internship should be directly related to the intern’s field of study and provide practical experience that complements their coursework.
• The internship is unpaid. The intern receives no compensation, including wages, commissions, or bonuses.
• The internship is limited in duration. The internship should not last longer than is necessary to achieve the learning objectives.
• The internship provides close supervision by qualified personnel. The intern should be assigned a supervisor who can provide guidance and feedback on their work.
• The internship does not displace regular employees, and the intern’s work should not replace what a regular employee would normally do.
Internship Details
• Duration: 3–6 months.
• Commitment: Minimum 3 days per week (approx. 15 hours).
• Location: Based in Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid/Remote options may be discussed).
• Supervision: Interns work under the guidance of qualified personnel and will receive structured feedback and mentorship.
• Compliance: Interns will not displace regular employees and will receive a learning experience that complements their education or career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation: Assist in developing and scheduling engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) that aligns with our artists’ brands. Develop and edit creative content, including videos, reels, and short-form campaigns for company and client accounts.
Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, respond to comments, and help grow fan engagement.
Content Research: Stay up-to-date with social media trends and suggest new ideas for content and campaigns.
Graphic Design and Editing: Create basic graphics and short videos using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for social media posts and campaigns.
Analytics and Reporting: Track performance of social media posts and campaigns, and assist in preparing reports on social media growth and engagement.
Special Projects and Administrative Support: Provide assistance in organizing online fan activations, digital campaigns, and promotional activities for artists. Support the social media team with day-to-day tasks including scheduling posts, coordinating with external vendors, and maintaining content calendars. Attend select events, shows, and shoots to capture behind-the-scenes and live content.
Qualifications
• This internship is unpaid and for college credit only. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and provide documentation from their institution confirming credit eligibility before the start date.
• The internship is designed for students pursuing studies in communications, marketing, digital media, music business, or related fields.
• Experience in photography, videography, and video editing is required for the learning objectives of the internship.
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred, graphic design skills are a plus.
• Prior internship or project experience related to the entertainment or music industry is preferred but not required.
