POSITION SUMMARY
The Ticketing Associate reports directly to the Senior Director of Ticketing. As a part of our ticketing team, the Ticketing Associate is responsible for creating and maintaining the proper and necessary channels to sell tickets and generate revenue, by meeting artist, agent and talent buyer needs and goals through the ticket sales process. The Ticketing Associate will primarily work alongside the Director of Ticketing, and Associates, along with other departments and teams, to learn the necessary skills to independently oversee and effectively manage all assigned projects, tasks, and shows to support the company’s revenue and growth goals.
The Ticketing Associate is expected to work in the office five days per week, Monday through Friday, at First Avenue in Minneapolis and will be scheduled to support the operational and staffing needs of the company. The position supports all of our venues, including the First Avenue Mainroom, 7th St Entry, Turf Club, Fine Line, Palace Theatre, and The Fitzgerald Theater.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Independently oversee and manage all assigned projects for a wide range of live shows and events, including concerts, comedy shows, and theater performances.
·  Exercise independent judgment and make timely decisions in high-pressure and fast-paced environments to ensure the successful execution of live events and ticketing operations.
·  Build and manage ticket links, presales, and onsales for all assigned shows.
·  Build on and off platform VIP packages.
·  Oversee and manage counts for all assigned shows.
·  Maintain changes and updates to all ticket links for all assigned shows.
·  Handle ticket buys for labels, promoter, miscellaneous.
·  Proof ticket links and show performances for all assigned shows.
·  Prepare nightly production for all shows.
·  Prepare charity, donation, VIP, and upsell settlements.
·  Conduct relocations and reclassing of tickets for venue moves on assigned shows.
·  Conduct buyer list scrubs for suspicious bot/broker/OTL activity and communicates results to the Director of Ticketing.
·  Complete the printing and distribution of hard tickets for miscellaneous sales.
·  Troubleshoot ticketing hardware and software and services ticketing equipment.
·  Assist with theater builds, refund requests, reporting, and any additional miscellaneous, delegated Ticketing Director tasks as needed.
·  Perform all assigned job duties and manages all assigned projects, tasks, and shows, including live events, shows, and performances that contain varying content.
·  Effectively manage email communication and multiple inboxes, including Box Office, Ticketing, and Counts.
·  Efficiently perform all assigned administrative tasks in a timely manner, including phone calls, emails, filing paperwork, record keeping, and reporting.
·  Attend new and recurring in-person and virtual meetings, including one-on-one, team, department, and company-wide meetings.
·  Attend new and recurring in-person and virtual trainings (APEX, reporting, Lunch & Learn).
·  Participate in collaborative conversations, including discussions regarding “out of the ordinary” events, and offer feedback, input, and ticketing expertise.
·  Assist and supports the Director of Ticketing in achieving company and department metrics and goals.
·  Understand company and department goals and how to quantify success and efficiency of ticketing.
·  Assist Marketing, Booking, and other departments and teams by completing all assigned projects and tasks.
·  Refine approach to communication depending on velocity of event.
·  Maintain a professional and organized demeanor as high-profile events happen at our venues.
·  Demonstrate fluidity in working with different departments, positions, experience levels, communication styles, etc.
·  Provide in-person resource for booking and promoter rep departments.
·  Consistently demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
·  Other duties as assigned.

 REQUIREMENTS:
• Employees are expected to work all assigned shows as part of their duties, regardless of personal preference, to ensure the success of the production and meet organizational needs.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Experienced with industry standard ticketing platforms (including AXS, Etix, Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Dice, Tixr, EventBrite, Ticketfly, TicketWeb) is preferred.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction from clients and managers.
• Experience proofreading and editing copy a plus.
• Basic math skills, and good attention to detail.
• Ability to work in crowded, loud, and dark environments as needed.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, due to time-sensitive venue and needs.

• The position require occasional local travel between Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
Schedule/Hours: Must work a schedule that supports the operational and staffing needs of the company.
·    The position must be able to work Monday through Friday, typically between the hours of 9am and 7pm, with shifts that may vary in length between 8-10 hours. Availability on nights and weekends is required, but not expected to be regular.
·    Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
·    Attendance: Must be able to consistently work in the office five days per week with regular attendance required at the Minneapolis office.
·    Work Location/Travel: Must be able to travel to and work at different venues located throughout Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and the surrounding cities, as needed.
·    Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
·    Work Authorization: Must be currently eligible and possess authorization to work in the United States of America. Must not require sponsorship by our company for work visas.
·    Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to downtown Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and surrounding cities, as needed.
