We're looking for a sharp, experienced, and well-connected coordinator to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced electronic music environment. This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who understands the EDM and dubstep scenes inside and out and can manage multiple priorities without missing a beat.
Responsibilities
• Release Coordination: Manage release timelines from start to finish, including asset collection, platform scheduling, and rollout execution across Beatport, Spotify, and other key DSPs
• PR & Outreach: Pitch to EDM and bass music blogs, playlist curators, tastemaker channels, and press contacts to secure placements and coverage
• Live Event Support: Coordinate logistics for festival sets, club shows, and tour dates, including guest lists, riders, travel, and day-of communication
• Schedule Management: Keep calendars organized across releases, studio sessions, DJ bookings, and meetings
• Industry Networking: Research and build relationships with A&Rs, booking agents, promoters, collaborators, and influencers in the EDM and bass music space
• Operations & Admin: Handle inbox management, follow-ups, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Requirements
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronic music at a label, management company, PR firm, or working independently with EDM or dubstep artists
• Proven placements on relevant blogs, playlists, and channels (Dancing Astronaut, EDM.com, This Song Is Sick, Your EDM, Bass music playlists, dubstep YouTube channels, etc.)
• Existing relationships with curators, media, or contacts in the EDM and bass music space
• Strong written communication that's professional but personable
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure
• Self-starter who takes ownership and delivers results independently
• Experience with tools like Monday, Mailchimp, Laylo, Label Radar, or similar platforms
Nice to Have
• Experience with festival submissions and booking agency workflows (Excision tours, Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Forbidden Kingdom, etc.)
• Deep understanding of Beatport charting, Spotify editorial pitching, and YouTube promo strategies for bass music
• Connections at labels like Disciple, Never Say Die, Subsidia, Deadbeats, Dim Mak, or with bass music tastemaker channels
• A network in the dubstep and bass music scene you can activate immediately
To Apply
Send a quick intro, your relevant experience, and real wins in the EDM or dubstep space, whether placements, press, shows, or campaigns. If you can't point to results, this isn't the role for you.
