An N1 London-based Artist and Producer management company seeks a full-time Management Assistant to support the senior management team across all artist activities. Previous office experience and a broad understanding of the music industry are required.
Administrative Responsibilities
• Track deadlines, priorities, and update to-do lists.
• Organise meetings, take notes, and distribute action points.
• Manage databases (Excel/Google Sheets) and maintain an orderly file storage system.
• Consolidate expenses and receipts, and assist with project budgets.
• Handle general office administration, including post, purchases, and errands.
Live Performance Responsibilities
• Book and arrange travel, transport, and accommodation.
• Execute show advancing, venue research, and tour budget preparation.
• Prepare carnets, freight manifests, itineraries, and calendar updates.
• Assist with visa applications.
• Liaise with musicians regarding availability.
Recording, Label & Songwriting Responsibilities
• Assist with the daily operations of in-house labels and global release campaigns.
• Liaise with external marketing, press, radio, and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain databases for release metadata, synch/licensing, songwriting credits, contracts, and live offers.
• Prepare and organise release assets for label delivery, distribution, and manufacturing.
• Submit MCPS licences and PPL/PRS registrations.
• Coordinate artist press requests and maintain press archives.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Interest in Jazz and Electronic music.
• Previous office experience.
• Impeccable attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
• Strong verbal, written, and IT skills (Excel, email, social media).
• Ability to multitask, adapt to last-minute changes, and work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent team player capable of working independently.
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and a good sense of humour.
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant music industry experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite to create and edit digital assets.
• Interest in and understanding of social media marketing.
Solar has an open office environment, teamwork is essential, and this is mainly an office-based role, although some hybrid working is possible.
