**About the role: **We are seeking a motivated, self-sufficient Assistant Engineer/Studio Runner to assist with daily operations of our Midtown Miami recording studio. This position involves directly supporting the engineers, clients, and management at Electric Feel. The Assistant Engineer’s key responsibilities include preparing for and assisting on sessions, organizing and maintaining the studio rooms and facilities, pickups and deliveries for clients and staff, and technical assistance. 
**Job Duties & Responsibilities **
● General cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of the studio 
● Notice and maintain client amenities 
● Offer a high-level hospitality experience to working clients
● General assistance and errands for the studio
● Liaise with on-property restaurant and bar, occasionally providing food and beverageservice to studio clients
● Light facility maintenance
● Plan and prepare for sessions
● Patching, mic setup, documenting, and note taking
● Session setups and breakdowns
● File management, distribution, and backups
● Support and assist working engineers
● Monitor equipment inventory and supply quantities
Qualifications
● 2+ years experience in a hospitality focused role
● Basic understanding of studio equipment, instruments, monitoring, signal flow, vocalrecording, mic setups, and producer setups
● Experience with patch bays
● Pro Tools experience and/or Logic, Ableton, FL Studio
● Familiarity with console operation and functionality
● Ability to effectively and resourcefully troubleshoot issues in a recording environment
● Extremely organized with the ability to problem solve and think ahead
● Timely, reliable, accurate, and dependable 
● Enthusiastic attitude 
● Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
