About SUPER

We deliver world-class programs across global time zones, partnering with some of the biggest names in music, entertainment, and culture; Metallica, Bon Jovi, RUSH, Oprah, President Barack Obama, Queen & Adam Lambert, WWE, Genesis, Cat Stevens, and Katy Perry.
SUPER includes Superfan (Music), SUPER Sports, and SUPER Travel, operating across North America, Europe, Australia, and emerging markets.

The Role
Overview
This role is based in North America and oversees financial operations that span Europe, Australia, and the broader international touring landscape. Deep experience in the global touring ecosystem, international tax considerations, multi-currency financial environments, and settlement-driven accounting is essential.
We are seeking a VP, Tour Finance & Strategy to serve as the senior-most finance leader in the organization. This role is a unique hybrid, demanding deep expertise in the specialist world of global tour finance while also requiring the strategic acumen of a seasoned, full-cycle accounting professional.
Your primary domain is the financial engine of our tours: leading all budgeting, settlement, commercial strategy, and operational accounting for our core business. Concurrently, you will act as the primary strategic partner to our external Business Management firm, which handles our corporate accounting (GL, consolidated reporting, tax).
While you will not be managing the corporate general ledger on a day-to-day basis, your full-cycle accounting background is essential. You will provide critical oversight, ask the right questions, and ensure the tour financials are seamlessly and accurately integrated into the overall corporate picture. You are the strategic bridge, translating complex tour operations into a clear financial narrative for executive leadership.
This hands-on leadership role is structured to grow into a CFO-level position as SUPER continues to scale.

Responsibilities
**Tour Financial Leadership & Operations **
• Lead the end-to-end financial lifecycle for all tours and large-scale projects, from initial budget creation and commercial modeling to final settlement.
• Own the accuracy and integrity of all P&Ls for tours, ensuring alignment with budgets and consistency across multiple Tour Settlement Accountants.
• Directly oversee settlement procedures for all projects, partnering with tour accountants on box office revenue, costs, taxes, and settlement accuracy.
• Manage all Accounts Receivable and collections related to touring revenue.
• Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all artist and tour vendor payments for processing.
• Oversee global withholding tax requirements, partnering with promoters and artist management to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
• Maintain a historical financial database of tour performance to inform future budgeting and commercial strategy.
**Strategic Partnership & Corporate Oversight **
• Lead and oversee SUPER’s external Business Management firm. Combining your knowledge of all tour finance, along with information from the Business Management firm, act as the CEO’s core go-to for all things finance-related within the business.
• Provide strategic review and business context for the consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) prepared by the Business Management firm, ensuring they accurately reflect business operations.
• Review financial components of key client and vendor contracts to mitigate risk and ensure commercial protections are in place.
• Oversee project-specific risk coverage and manage relationships with insurance brokers to ensure adequate global and tour-specific policies are maintained.
• Ensure the integrity and timely delivery of all tour-related financial data (settlements, reconciliations, accruals) to our external Business Management firm for entry into the corporate General Ledger.
• Act as the key internal stakeholder for annual corporate audits and tax filings, supporting the Business Management firm by providing clear, well-documented evidence for all tour-related financials.
• Oversee all tax-related relationships and strategy across SUPER’s global touring footprint, coordinating with external tax advisors and the Business Management firm to drive proactive international tax planning and mitigation.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning
• Partner with the CEO and leadership to create detailed budgets and revenue models that drive profitability.
• Drive rolling forecasts and re-forecasting for all active and upcoming tours.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, and project-based financial reports and dashboards on tour performance, profitability, and cash flow to the executive team.
• Lead analysis of tour margins, VIP package pricing, and operational efficiency to maximize profitability and inform strategic decisions.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities across all active business lines (touring, sports, travel).
Team & Systems Leadership
• Manage and develop a team of 3–4 direct reports, setting expectations, coaching, and driving performance.
• Build and refine the tour accounting systems and SOPs (primarily in Airtable and Excel/Sheets) that feed into the corporate accounting system.
• Partner with the VP, Business Operations on implementing and optimizing new tools and workflows for the tour finance function.
• Serve as a core partner to Operations, Ticketing, HR, and Client Services to maintain financial clarity and accountability.
• Lead relationships with SUPER’s Business Management firm and external tax advisors.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 7–10+ years in senior finance roles within high-growth environments; music/touring strongly preferred.
• Required: A strong foundation in full-cycle accounting (GAAP, accrual accounting, month-end close, financial statement preparation) combined with deep, hands-on experience in the music/touring industry.
• Essential: Proven expertise in the global touring ecosystem, international tax, multi-currency environments, and settlement-driven project accounting.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret consolidated corporate financial statements, not just project P&Ls.
• Advanced proficiency with systems used for tour management and accounting; Airtable experience is extremely advantageous.
• Working knowledge of corporate accounting systems like Xero and/or QuickBooks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as a bridge between operational teams and corporate finance partners.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior finance leader who can strengthen and scale a high-performing financial engine, elevate systems as the business expands globally, and provide strategic backbone across multiple business units. They must be capable of overhauling systems, building team structure, and stepping into a CFO-level role as SUPER scales.
