About the role: The Junior A&R will be an integral part of Electric Feel's Miami team, helping cultivate the creative community around our studio and roster. This person is deeply connected within the music industry, naturally builds relationships, and has a strong instinct for identifying emerging talent and opportunities.
The role will focus on artist and songwriter outreach, studio and session coordination, talent discovery, relationship management, and supporting the creative and commercial growth of Electric Feel's roster. The ideal candidate is passionate about music, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Duti****es & Responsibilities
• Scout and sign talented artists, producers & songwriters
• Trend watching: monitoring playlists, streaming platforms/charts and following industry news to discover new signings and collaborative ideas
• Help the CEO/GM oversee the creative development of our artists and writers
• Establish strategic collaborations (co-writes, sessions, features, remixes, collaborations & cuts)
• Identify existing songs from Electric Feel clients that can be improved and help execute proper creatives for pitching the songs 
• Help the management and publishing departments with scheduling for clients 
• Maintain existing relationships with Electric Feels roster and nurture/develop your own acts
• Actively search for artists, writers, producers, toplines, remixers and other specialized talents that are able to contribute or add to the quality of our releases and our repertoire
• Match the right people by making perfect use of your connections within the music industry
• Chase information and details to pass on to our accounting department
Qualifications
• At least three to five years of qualifying work experience in a similar role
• You are extremely passionate about music
• You know all there is to know about music and Electric Feel, and you are extremely knowledgeable about the discographies of relevant artists and catalogs from many other labels worldwide
• You know all about the main music distribution partners (from physical distribution to digital distribution and streaming)
• You know how record labels operate, especially in terms of product marketing, business occasions, A&R administration and more
• You’re able to cope with pressure and changing deadlines extremely well; you’re able to keep your head straight while working on multiple projects at the same time
• You love working in tandem with all of the company’s different departments to get results fast
