**Overview: **Electric Feel Publishing is seeking a Senior A&R to help identify, develop, and champion elite songwriting and producer talent across our publishing roster. This role will focus heavily on songwriter and producer discovery, creative development, strategic collaboration opportunities, and cultivating relationships throughout the music publishing ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has deep relationships within the songwriter, producer, artist management, label, and publishing communities, a strong creative instinct, and a proven ability to identify commercially and culturally impactful talent and records.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Identify and sign emerging and established songwriters, producers, artists, and creative talent with strong long-term potential
• Build and maintain deep relationships across the songwriting, producer, artist management, label, and publishing communities
• Actively source new talent through demos, sessions, live performances, social platforms, streaming data, and industry relationships
• Creatively develop and strategically position songwriters and producers within the marketplace
• Set up and oversee writing sessions, camps, collaborations, and creative opportunities for roster clients
• Collaborate closely with management teams, labels, artists, and internal departments to maximize creative and commercial opportunities
• Maintain strong knowledge of current music trends, charts, streaming behavior, and emerging cultural movements across genres
• Attend recording sessions, writing camps, showcases, rehearsals, concerts, and industry events as needed
• Partner with Business Affairs and A&R Administration to ensure accurate delivery of splits, publishing information, writer credits, and other required documentation
• Help drive sync, brand partnership, and cross-platform creative opportunities for roster clients where applicable
• Participate in regular creative, A&R, marketing, and strategy meetings to ensure alignment across teams
Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in A&R, publishing, songwriter management, or creative development
• Strong existing relationships and reputation within the songwriter, producer, artist management, label, and publishing communities
• Demonstrated track record of identifying and developing commercially successful songwriters, producers, and/or records
• Deep understanding of music publishing, songwriting splits, producer agreements, and the creative development process
• Strong creative instincts with the ability to identify culturally relevant talent and music early
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Highly knowledgeable across current music trends, streaming platforms, and music discovery channels
